First Responders Day, June 25th 2020

This June 25th 2020 is a special day – the day we say a big “Thank You” to first responders all over the world. To mark this precious day we are launching a competition for graphic designers.

GRAPHIC DESIGN COMPETITION:

Use your talent to create any or all of GIFS, phone emojis, email banners, repeating patterns, digital scrap booking elements and scalable vector images to showcase and help spread the “In The Service of Humanity” message.

Colours (HEX CODE) to use are: F9DDE9, EAB3CD, 91293D, 62091A and DB9C00 but other colours can be used.

Just go to our home page and follow our directions to get your copy of the image. Transform our image as your creativity inspires. Send in your creative images via:

  • Email a zip file or the images themselves direct to intheserviceofhumanity@gmail.com
  • Save to a sharable cloud service such as Dropbox or Google Drive and email the link to intheserviceofhumanity@gmail.com
  • Link to your website ensuring the designs are publically downloadable under the Non-commercial Share Alike licence (see details below)

‘IN THE SERVICE OF HUMANITY’ GALLERY:

The winning designers will be showcased and displayed on this site with links to their websites if requested. The images will join the In The Service of Humanity Gallery for open access not for profit use for the world community. The designer is welcome to use the images for not for profit use or fund raising as they wish.

LICENCE INFORMATION:

We are offering the “In the Service of Humanity” images for free under a Creative Commons Licence Non Commercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International. This means you are free to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format. You can also remix, transform, and build upon the material

You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.

NonCommercial — You may not use the material for commercial purposes.

ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.

No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measuresthat legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.
